Job Description
Turing, a fast-growing AI company based in Palo Alto, California, is seeking a Director of Revenue Accounting. This role will report to the Global Controller and will be responsible for designing policy, managing deal complexity, leading the billing and recognition process, and preparing the company for audit and IPO scrutiny. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, thrive in fast-moving environments, and bring clarity to complexity.

Role involves:
  • Partnering with Legal, RevOps, Business Systems, FP&A, and Tax
  • Defining and maintaining ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition policies
  • Leading a global revenue accounting team
  • Overseeing contract setup, invoicing logic, and revenue triggers
  • Acting as the functional lead for revenue automation tooling

Requirements:
  • 10+ years in revenue accounting
  • Strong command of ASC 606
  • Experience owning external auditor interface, technical memos, and audit readiness workstreams
  • Strong systems and spreadsheet skills; Netsuite required
