Job Description

Easygo is seeking a Front-End Software Development Engineer to join their team in Melbourne, Australia. The candidate will be responsible for hands-on coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability. They will also lead technical discussions, propose solutions, and mentor junior engineers.

Role Involves:
• Coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Leading technical discussions and proposing solutions
• Innovating within the team and driving constructive changes
• Analyzing complex problems and providing effective solutions
• Leading and independently completing medium-sized projects
• Sharing knowledge and best practices with the team
• Mentoring junior engineers
• Collaborating with stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams

Requirements:
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of experience in frontend development
• Experience with Svelte + SvelteKit or other server-side rendering frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Subscriptions, TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook
• Strong understanding of code architecture and design principles
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Analytical mindset and positive attitude
