Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Anaplan is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will provide support for Anaplan's production platforms, build automation systems, and collaborate with technical teams to improve system performance. This role involves being on call and contributing to the improvement of automation and system reliability.Role involves:

• Devising and implementing complex changes to production platforms
• Collaborating on team projects to improve automation
• Contributing to standards for the software operating environment
• Providing support and operations experience to development teams
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and root-cause analysis
• Working on scripting and tools to improve automation and reliability
• Working with other infrastructure teams to enhance the platform

Requirements:

• Experience in Linux administration
• Experience with Kubernetes administration
• Comfortable in a scripting language suitable for automation tasks
• Experience with operating a production platform with live services
• Experience with Production on-call duties as part of Incident Management
