Job Description

Roofstock is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Finance & Corporate Development Associate to contribute to the company's strategic direction and growth. This role involves evaluating growth opportunities and supporting corporate initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in strategy, finance, and cross-functional collaboration.Roofstock's mission is to make real estate investing radically accessible, cost-effective, and simple. • Support strategic planning and market analysis.
• Assist in identifying and executing mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investments.
• Build financial models and valuation analyses.
• Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership.
• Analyze KPIs and financial performance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy/development.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong working knowledge of Google Sheets.
• Experience with Sigma and strong skills in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
