Associate KYC Analyst

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Junior KYC Analyst to support the company's expanding customer base in North America. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing KYC documentation, evaluating potential risks, and conducting due diligence to safeguard Adyen and its clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses critical thinking skills, and prioritizes scalability while upholding high integrity.Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft.What this role involves:

• Performing KYC checks on (sub-)merchants, collecting and verifying relevant documentation, and iterating on the process flow.
• Communicating directly with merchants and serving as the primary point of contact for onboarding-related matters.
• Acting as an internal product advocate, tracking product processes, and contributing to the platform by providing feedback and reporting issues from merchants.
• Serving as an internal advisor for onboarding-related questions in the local office.

Requirements:

• At least one year of work experience (including internships and extracurricular activities).
• A strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
• A natural curiosity and ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team spirit, with a willingness to step out of one's comfort zone.
• An analytical and critical mindset.
• A sense of achievement from solving operational problems and helping others.
• An interest in Onboarding/KYC/CDD and operational processes.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

What this role offers:

• Full-time position in Chicago office.
• Wednesday-Sunday shift.
• 40 hours per week.
