Team Lead - Office Infrastructure

Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Team Lead for the Office Infrastructure team within its Business Enablement Function. This role is based in Amsterdam and focuses on enabling a productive work environment across Adyen's global offices. The Team Lead will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and improvement of office infrastructure worldwide, ensuring consistent standards and a great end-user experience.Adyen is a financial technology platform that provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. • Setting clear individual and team goals aligned with the Business Enablement team's strategic ambitions.
• Working cross-functionally with other teams to coordinate project delivery and improve employee experience.
• Taking responsibility for the overall operation and improvement of Office Infrastructure across 30+ offices worldwide.
• Driving the technical direction of the team, fostering best practices, innovation, and professional development.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery, proactively addressing potential roadblocks.
• Maintaining and developing relationships with crucial vendors, ensuring effective partnerships, service delivery, and cost management.
• Supervising and guiding team members, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Delegating tasks effectively, ensuring balanced workloads and maximizing team productivity.
• Promoting and implementing automation initiatives within the team to improve efficiency and service reliability.
• Coordinating the planning and execution of new office deployments, ensuring timely and efficient setups.
• Ensuring the team provides effective support and resolution for IT challenges, minimizing disruption to colleagues' work.
• Driving the ongoing improvement of Adyen’s internal IT systems related to office infrastructure.

• Proven experience in coaching, leading, and mentoring engineering talent.
• Team player who excels at working with a global team across different offices, roles, and cultures.
• Strong understanding of technologies relevant to office infrastructure, including meeting room equipment, event spaces, access control systems, and networking.

• Willingness and ability to travel for work a few times a year.
