Job Description
Recharge is seeking an Account Executive to join their Sales organization and drive growth by identifying, targeting, and closing new business. The Account Executive will lead product demos, qualify potential merchants, and provide solutions to build trust in the Recharge platform. This role involves working with a range of merchants, varying in size and industry, and owning the full sales cycle for each account. This is a onsite role based out of our Toronto office; 5 days per week in the office is expected.

What this role involves:
  • Conducting in-depth market research to identify and qualify new account opportunities.
  • Completing the end-to-end sales cycle from cold email outreach to closing the sale.
  • Performing business, product, and technical demonstrations to customers and prospective customers.
  • Using a value-oriented, consultative sales approach to educate customers on products.
  • Managing a pipeline with multiple prospects and utilizing Salesforce to document progress.
  • Identifying when teamwork with Sales Engineers is required for enterprise-level merchants.
  • Consistently exceeding quarterly metrics and quota.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of inside technology sales experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to overcome objections and build trust.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a creative approach to penetrating new accounts.
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM.
  • Experience with a sales automation tool, Outreach.io preferred.
  • Ability to work a schedule of 9am - 5pm; travel up to 10%-15% of the time.
