Job Description
VEED.IO is seeking a Social Media Community Manager to elevate its online presence and connect with its growing community. This role reports to the Head of Social & Influencer and will play a pivotal part in executing the social community strategy and building a vibrant community. The ideal candidate is passionate about video, deeply understands social platforms, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Role Involves:
- Actively manage and grow VEED’s online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, on-brand, and professionally.
- Identify opportunities for creative commenting and viral engagement to insert VEED into cultural conversations.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and platform updates, and proactively recommend innovative ideas.
- Track and analyze performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and campaigns.
- Provide regular reports and insights, using data to optimize community strategy.
- Be on the forefront of real-time trends and culturally relevant moments.
- Provide sentiment classification to identify audiences’ reception and to accurately report on developments.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Minimum 1 year experience in a community manager/social role.
- Experience understanding and using data to inform community-based decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail.
- Experience working across different social media platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging social media trends.
- Ability to be proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using AI-powered tools to streamline workflows.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience in a startup environment is beneficial.
