Job Description
KnowBe4 is seeking a Snr. Manager of Engineering Operations to lead the administrative tasks for the Engineering Sector. This role involves managing budgets, tracking hiring, administering internal training, managing vendor relations, and providing executive calendar management.
Responsibilities: - Manage administrative and operational functions for the Engineering sector.
- Manage engineering sector financials, including budget planning and cost optimization.
- Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage and mentor EngOps team members.
- Provide executive support to the CTO, including calendar management and travel coordination.
- Act as the main contact to HR and Finance for headcount management.
- Oversee access to Engineering tools and systems.
- Direct the execution of department-wide engineering events and manage logistics.
- Partner with Facilities on office space planning.
- Maintain and enhance tooling automations.
Requirements: - BS or BA or equivalent work experience.
- Experience using Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
- Previous experience in a management role overseeing operational functions.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial planning.
- Experience in process improvement and implementing operational systems.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Sheets, Slides).
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Slack, and Smartsheet.
- Comfortable balancing operations work with executive support tasks.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Excellent at understanding organizational dynamics and communicating effectively.
- A proactive self-starter who tackles unclear problems and finds solutions independently.
