Job Description
IMC is looking for an Equity Analyst to become a member of their research team in Amsterdam, supporting the European Equity Options trading business. The Equity Analyst will work closely with research team members and traders, concentrating on a specific sector. They will analyze companies, stock catalysts, and news to find profitable opportunities. The role requires collaboration with the trading team to maximize the impact of research and influence trading positions.

The role involves:
- Staying updated on news flow impacting traded symbols.
- Providing real-time news analysis to traders.
- Identifying and analyzing outcomes for stock-moving events.
- Creating actionable trade ideas and managing risks.
Requirements:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with quantitative and qualitative data analysis, financial modeling, and forecasting.
- Self-starter who proactively identifies new opportunities.
- 1-4 years’ experience as an equity analyst/associate.
- Comfortable working with incomplete information.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with Python and Options knowledge is a plus.
