Job Description
Appian is seeking an Account Executive to sell its AI-powered process automation solutions within the banking industry in Sydney, Australia. The Account Executive will be responsible for top-of-funnel marketing and prospecting, managing complex sales cycles (6-12 months), and closing deals with major banks.
Responsibilities: - Navigating complex banking industry sales cycles.
- Leveraging internal resources and working cross-functionally.
- Delivering in-person presentations to senior audiences.
- Building relationships and engaging at the C-level.
- Aligning customer goals to the Appian value proposition.
- Understanding industry trends and positioning against competitors.
- Crafting and executing territory and account strategies.
Requirements: - 10-15+ years of direct selling experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of banking experience as an Enterprise Account Executive.
- Experience selling complex technologies to LOB and IT at the enterprise level.
- History of consistent quota achievement.
- Strong industry network within customer and partner base.
- Strong job tenure.
