Job Description
Appian is seeking an Account Executive to sell its AI-powered process automation solutions within the banking industry in Sydney, Australia. The Account Executive will be responsible for top-of-funnel marketing and prospecting, managing complex sales cycles (6-12 months), and closing deals with major banks.Responsibilities:
  • Navigating complex banking industry sales cycles.
  • Leveraging internal resources and working cross-functionally.
  • Delivering in-person presentations to senior audiences.
  • Building relationships and engaging at the C-level.
  • Aligning customer goals to the Appian value proposition.
  • Understanding industry trends and positioning against competitors.
  • Crafting and executing territory and account strategies.
Requirements:
  • 10-15+ years of direct selling experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of banking experience as an Enterprise Account Executive.
  • Experience selling complex technologies to LOB and IT at the enterprise level.
  • History of consistent quota achievement.
  • Strong industry network within customer and partner base.
  • Strong job tenure.
