Account Executive - Southeast

Job Description

Fortra is seeking an Account Executive to sell its software products within the Southeast US territory (FL, GA, TN, KY, Carolinas). The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities, preparing proposals, leading negotiations, and closing sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Fortra's solutions and provide accurate sales forecasts.

What This Role Involves:
• Making regular calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.
• Identifying and qualifying business opportunities.
• Leading negotiations and overcoming objections to closure.
• Developing and maintaining communications with staff and customers.
• Assisting in determining sales strategies and goals.
• Researching and developing lists of potential customers.
• Determining customer needs and applying product and service offerings.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least two years of related sales experience; technology/software sales preferred.
• Inside Sales experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and negotiate.
