Junior Interior Designer

Job Description

BDG architecture + design is seeking a Junior Designer or Part 1 Architectural Assistant to join their team in London. The ideal candidate will be an all-rounder with a passion for architecture and interior design, possessing experience in concept development, design visualization, and a sound understanding of the technical aspects of architectural projects. The candidate will work closely with creative and technical directors, contributing to high standards and bold, innovative thinking.Role involves:

• Supporting the design and production of building refurbishment and fit-out projects (RIBA Stages 1-4).
• Assisting in project design development at the concept and developed design stages.
• Collaborating with professional consultant teams.
• Contributing to conceptual design and internal initiatives.
• Managing design deliverables and content.
• Exploring and developing specialist interests in areas like 3D modeling, AI, and building technologies.

Requirements:

• A degree in Architecture (Part 1 qualified).
• Proficiency in CAD software, including Autodesk AutoCAD and Revit.
• Familiarity with rendering software like Enscape and/or V-Ray.
• Experience using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop).
• Competence with the Microsoft Suite (MS Word, Excel, and Teams).
• A strong understanding of materials and finishes applications.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork abilities.
