Technical Designer

Job Description

Landor is seeking a Technical Designer to join their Mumbai studio. The ideal candidate will develop design and detailing solutions that meet client's strategic, functional, design, and budgetary needs, while adhering to technical standards. They will collaborate with internal teams (Architecture, Design, Strategy, Client Servicing) and external consultants (MEP, PMC, LEED, Structural) to ensure timely project completion. The Technical Designer will also support the Project Manager and Project Director by sharing design development responsibilities and contributing to continuous improvement by developing new material libraries and researching innovative construction techniques.Role involves:

• Developing design and detailing solutions
• Collaborating with internal and external teams
• Supporting project managers and directors
• Contributing to continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Multiple years of experience in retail or experience design
• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, Revit
• Strong drawing, detailing, and technical skills
• Good material knowledge and understanding of construction methods
• Excellent time management and communication skills
