DV Trading, a proprietary trading firm, is seeking a Middle Office Trading Analyst in London. The analyst will ensure the quality and accuracy of daily trading data, serving as a key link between various teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances.
Identify, investigate, and resolve trade breaks or data discrepancies.
Monitor and validate trading data across multiple asset classes.
Partner with front office traders, risk, technology, and finance teams.
Maintain and enhance processes and controls for trading data.
Contribute to the design and improvement of middle office tools and reports.
Escalate operational issues or control gaps.
Assist with ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in a trading operations, middle office, or trade support role.
Strong understanding of financial instruments and trade lifecycle processes.
Experience with trading and reconciliation systems; familiarity with OMS/EMS and market data feeds is a plus.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams.
Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
