Middle Office Trading Analyst

Job Description

DV Trading, a proprietary trading firm, is seeking a Middle Office Trading Analyst in London. The analyst will ensure the quality and accuracy of daily trading data, serving as a key link between various teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash balances.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve trade breaks or data discrepancies.
• Monitor and validate trading data across multiple asset classes.
• Partner with front office traders, risk, technology, and finance teams.
• Maintain and enhance processes and controls for trading data.
• Contribute to the design and improvement of middle office tools and reports.
• Escalate operational issues or control gaps.
• Assist with ad hoc data analysis, reporting, and projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a trading operations, middle office, or trade support role.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments and trade lifecycle processes.
• Experience with trading and reconciliation systems; familiarity with OMS/EMS and market data feeds is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, SQL, or other data tools is a plus.
