Job Description
HoYoverse, a global company known for immersive virtual world experiences, is seeking an Accountant (GL) to join their team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing month-end and year-end closing activities, preparing financial statements, and ensuring statutory compliance. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
What this role involves:
- Perform month-end and year-end closing of accounts for management reporting and statutory compliance
- Prepare monthly P/L and B/S
- Posting of month-end closing journal entries
- Prepare a monthly bank reconciliation
- Perform month-end intercompany transactions reconciliation
- Prepare a monthly balance sheet schedule detailing the transaction movement of the balance sheet items
- Assist in preparing and submitting quarterly GST reports, annual Income tax filing, withholding tax, etc
- Prepare audit schedule and liaise with the external auditor and tax agent
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA equivalent
- Good Excel and accounting system knowledge
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- More than 2 years of relevant working experience in a full set of account
