Job Description
Graphcore is seeking a Customer Quality Engineering Manager to lead and build a high-performing team of customer quality engineers. The candidate will own the end-to-end customer quality experience, conduct failure analysis, and act as a critical interface between suppliers and customers. They will deliver quality reports, implement quality processes, and collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will champion a culture of urgency, clarity, and technical excellence in all quality-related activities.
Role involves:
- Leading and building a high-performing team of customer quality engineers
- Owning the end-to-end customer quality experience
- Conducting and overseeing detailed failure analysis
- Acting as a critical interface between OEM/ODM suppliers and end customers
- Delivering clear, timely, and technically rigorous quality reports
- Implementing and maintaining robust quality processes
- Collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and field teams
- Monitoring and analyzing customer quality data
- Championing a culture of urgency, clarity, and technical excellence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong technical background in electronics or computer engineering
- Proven experience in a quality or engineering role supporting data centre environments
- Demonstrated leadership experience building or managing technical teams
- Hands-on experience with customer-facing quality processes
- Expertise in 8D, root cause analysis, and quality improvement methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills
- Strong sense of urgency and clarity in execution and reporting
