Finance Team Leader - Trade

Takealot.com, a leading South African online retailer, is seeking a Finance Team Leader - Trade to join their Finance Team in Cape Town. This role offers a market-related Total Remuneration Package and a dynamic work environment. The Finance Team Leader will report to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable specialists.
• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports regarding AP metrics for senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in AP software and systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
