Senior Product Designer - Upper Funnel (eCommerce)

Job Description

Decathlon Digital is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Upper Funnel team. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for the discovery, ideation, design, and prototyping of the customer experience for their product area. They will collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, break them down into solvable problems, and design innovative solutions.

Role Involves:

• Piloting design projects from concept to delivery.
• Conducting user research and facilitating workshops.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Influencing the product roadmap as a strategic partner.
• Creating empathy with users by understanding their needs and pain points.
• Validating hypotheses through qualitative and quantitative research.
• Communicating research results and design justifications.
• Creating aesthetic visual mockups.
• Documenting design decisions and results.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design.
• A portfolio demonstrating attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Curious, proactive, and creative mindset with a passion for user-centered design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Expertise in interaction and visual design.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
• Experience using and contributing to Design Systems.
• Professional proficiency in French and English.
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
