Job Description

Motive is seeking an Account Executive to establish its sales presence in Mexico. The Account Executive will capitalize on Motive's strong product positioning to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual with a history of sales overachievement, strong interpersonal and technical skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Role Involves:

  • Prospecting and securing new business through relationship building.
  • Achieving KPI targets in a performance-based environment.
  • Collaborating with sales leadership to refine sales strategies.
  • Providing tailored recommendations and negotiating contract terms.
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues proactively.
  • Planning effectively to meet business goals and revenue quotas.
  • Staying informed on market trends to offer consultative insights.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of B2B full-cycle direct sales experience.
  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Experience managing 3 to 6-month sales cycles with six-figure annual revenue per deal.
  • A proactive “hunter” mentality focused on closing new deals.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to outbound prospecting, managing, and closing deals.
  • Experience selling into trucking, oil & gas, construction, transportation, logistics, compliance and/or safety a plus.
  • Familiarity with technical tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, Gong, and Slack.
