A prominent company in Singapore is seeking a Compliance Due Diligence Analyst to join its Compliance team. This role is crucial for maintaining high standards of regulatory compliance and risk management. The analyst will operate as part of the second line of defense, taking charge of the ongoing due diligence process and assisting with periodic reviews and client onboarding reviews. The role focuses predominantly on the company's corporate and institutional client base, with some exposure to individual retail clients.

What the role involves:

  • Performing ongoing due diligence where there are changes to client information.
  • Acting as a second line reviewer for client onboarding cases.
  • Conducting risk-based periodic reviews on existing clients.
  • Assessing, identifying, and recommending account controls to mitigate MLTF risks.
  • Maintaining thorough documentation of reviews and decisions made.
  • Liaising with Commercial, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders.
  • Staying updated on MAS regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in compliance, AML, or KYC/due diligence roles.
  • Basic understanding of MAS regulatory expectations.
  • Familiarity with corporate structures, beneficial ownership, and AML/CFT red flags.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
