Job Description
Zenni Optical, founded in 2003, is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Data Engineering team. The Data Analyst will support the company's rapid growth by building analytics systems and data models to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves working across key business domains, including e-commerce funnel analysis, marketing, CRM, inventory, supply chain, and customer service. The Data Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams in North America and China to bring data-driven insights and business decision optimization to the company.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain analytics systems and data models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America and China.
- Conduct in-depth analysis across key business domains.
- Build visibility into organizational data and deliver actionable insights.
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives.
- Drive meaningful business impact through the use of enriched data.
- Contribute to fostering a data-first culture within the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in e-commerce analytics.
- Expert-level proficiency in SQL.
- Proficient in Python and dbt.
- High proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
- Experience with raw event data platforms such as RudderStack or Google Analytics.
- Strong experience in data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
