2nd shift Line Lead

Job Description

Nature's Bakery is seeking a Line Lead for the 2nd shift at their Carson City, Nevada location. The Line Lead will coordinate the activities of assigned team members, ensuring the quality and safety of food products, team member safety, and adherence to the production schedule. They will also optimize line efficiencies and communicate effectively with production leaders.Responsibilities:

• Maintaining a neat, safe, and orderly work area.
• Complying with company and plant policies and procedures.
• Ensuring OSHA guidelines are followed.
• Monitoring case attainment and reacting to schedule changes.
• Ensuring packaging standards are met.
• Setting up equipment to centerline settings.
• Handling start-up, changeover, and shutdown duties.
• Communicating, training, coaching, and motivating team members.
• Filling in as necessary due to absences.
• Passing down training information and company values.
• Loading, removing, and/or off-bearing materials and products.
• Communicating with supervisors, peers, and team members.
• Establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
• Identifying information and detecting changes.
• Assisting in developing SOPs.
• Creating daily reports.
• Developing, maintaining, and communicating visual KPIs.
• Conducting daily post-op meetings.

Requirements:

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and lockout tagout procedures.
• Ability to react to schedule changes.
• Experience with equipment set-up and changeovers.
• Strong communication, training, and coaching skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain interpersonal relationships.

Benefits/Offers:

• Pay: $18.50 per hour to start +$1.50 shift Differential+ bonuses
• Shift: 2nd: Monday-Friday with Overtime when needed 1:30pm-10:00pm– [Full Time Work]
