Job Description
Sotheby's is seeking a Client Accounts Receivable Coordinator in London. This role involves providing exceptional client service for private sales and supporting departmental administrative tasks. The coordinator will oversee client accounts activities from sale to payment, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing billing and issuing client-related financial outputs.
  • Managing "no bid" clients and escalating requests.
  • Reconciling information to invoice sales and avoid reinvoicing.
  • Managing extended payment term requests.
  • Collecting outstanding client debt and facilitating collections or shipments.
  • Working with expert departments on payment terms, property release, and AML regulations.
  • Managing chargebacks and payment activity reconciliations.
  • Supporting compliance activities, such as collecting client due diligence forms.

Requirements include:
  • Degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • 4-5+ years’ related work experience.
  • Financial experience in a professional/financial services field or debt collection in an international luxury business.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Understanding of escalation procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
