Job Description
Ocado Group is seeking an Azure Integration Specialist to design, develop, implement, and maintain integration solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate will leverage their understanding of integration patterns, Azure services, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform to deliver connectivity between systems and applications. This role is crucial for driving Ocado's cloud-first strategy and ensuring the efficiency of business processes. This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days in the office in Hatfield.
What this role involves:
- Designing and architecting integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
- Developing and implementing integration workflows, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Configuring, deploying, and managing Azure Integration Services.
- Implementing DevOps principles and practices within the integration lifecycle.
- Utilizing Terraform to provision and manage Azure infrastructure.
- Designing, implementing, and managing APIs using Azure API Management.
- Ensuring the security and compliance of Azure solutions.
- Implementing monitoring and logging solutions for integration processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand integration needs.
- Identifying and implementing optimizations to improve the performance of integration solutions.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation for integration designs.
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Staying current with advancements in Azure Integration Services and DevOps tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
- Proven experience implementing DevOps principles and practices.
- Significant experience using Terraform to define and manage Azure infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
- Strong understanding of API design principles.
- Solid understanding of security best practices for cloud-based integration solutions.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or other monitoring and logging tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
