Embedded Software Engineer - Access Control

Verkada is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their dynamic team focused on building cloud-managed access control systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on Verkada's Access Control solution, allowing users to manage doors, schedules, and user credentials remotely. The team operates like a startup within a startup, providing ownership and autonomy.Role involves:

• Developing cloud-managed access control systems.
• Working alongside firmware, backend, and frontend engineers.
• Driving product ideas to completion.

Requirements:

• BS or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science.
• 3+ years of experience working on Linux development as a Software Engineer.
• Proficient in C/C++.
• Familiar with Linux servers, Linux device drivers, Linux kernel patches, secure operating systems and security focused programming.
