Senior Financial Analyst, Business Partnership

Job Description

Discord is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their Finance team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis, supporting senior leadership in Legal, Safety, and People. The Senior Financial Analyst will help establish coordination and communication between various teams, such as Legal, Trust & Safety, Policy, and Talent teams. • Establishing and enhancing financial planning processes.
• Partnering with senior leaders to develop metrics, reports, and dashboards.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools.
• Conducting cost/benefit analyses and articulating key drivers.
• Translating complex financial concepts into compelling narratives.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of related experience (e.g., FP&A, Accounting, Management Consulting).
• Strong analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Willingness to build relationships and collaborate.
• Ability to deal with ambiguity.
• High-level understanding of financial planning and accounting concepts.
• Proficiency in Excel & financial modeling.
