Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join their Pipeline Security team. In this role, the Senior Product Designer will be responsible for designing intuitive UI/UX solutions that empower teams to develop software securely and efficiently. The Senior Product Designer's expertise will directly contribute to reducing business risks without compromising developer velocity. They will work across both Secrets Management and Build Artifacts categories, creating interfaces that enable AppSec professionals, DevOps engineers, and Developers to work more efficiently.
Role involves:
- Designing a holistic approach for Pipeline Security.
- Collaborating with the triad team to define product goals and strategy.
- Communicating designs through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups.
- Developing hypotheses and success metrics to test new features.
- Engaging with the user base to understand their needs.
- Undertaking usability testing.
- Contributing to the Design System.
Requirements:
- Experience designing enterprise-grade software.
- Experience creating UX design for developer and security personas.
- Familiarity with designing holistic workflows.
- Experience following a user-centered design approach.
- Experience fostering collaboration across multiple product teams.
- Ability to conduct research using various methods.
- Comfortable working in a git workflow.
