Associate 3D Artist

Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking an Associate 3D Artist to contribute to imaginative marketing campaigns. The Associate 3D Artist will use their expertise in 3D and Unreal Engine to create immersive visual experiences.

The role involves:

• Intaking and processing complex CAD and/or FBX files for final use in Unreal Engine.
• Managing vehicle model variations and material library in Unreal Engine.
• Correcting initial geometry and texture errors.
• Rendering high-quality, photo-real prototypes and fidelity samples.
• Collaborating with rigging and animation in Unreal Engine, correcting faults if needed.
• Modeling, texturing, and animating complementary elements for UE environments.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Maya 3D / Cinema 4D (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Rhino is a plus).
• 1+ years of experience in Unreal Engine.
• Experience in automotive or high-end rendering pipelines (Arnold and Redshift).
• Understanding of film production and real-time development process.
• Proficiency with post-production and VFX pipelines.
• Familiarity with Virtual Production is an advantage.
• Commitment to achieving high visual fidelity.
• Passion for automotive, animation, gaming, and VR.
• Positive attitude towards learning, sharing, and teamwork.
• Drive to be efficient with renders.
• Organized models/project files.
