Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Senior Designer to lead design work, primarily focused on web experiences. The ideal candidate will provide smart, thoughtful design that elevates brand experience across global touchpoints. • Lead the design of digital experiences, with a primary focus on web.
• Translate brand principles into modern, cohesive design systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, strategy, and development.
• Contribute to and uphold design standards that scale across global markets.
• Manage your own workstream and client communications.
• Develop concepts and communicate ideas.
• Direct and delegate to core creative services disciplines.
• Contribute to the innovative development of the creative department.
• Participate in strategic brainstorming, concept development, creative brief development, and creative execution.

Requirements:

• 3 or more years of experience and a strong digital design portfolio.
• Proven experience in digital/web design with strong design system knowledge.
• Expertise in Figma and a sharp design eye with high attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of UX principles.
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment and managing projects end-to-end.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to operate autonomously.
• Eagerness to collaborate with other creative people.
