Software Development Engineer II- UI OCC

Job Description

CommerceIQ is seeking a Software Development Engineer II- UI OCC to join their team in Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering AI-powered conversational UI components, improving UI components, estimating tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing monitoring and logging, participating in design discussions and code reviews, enhancing engineering practices, and mentoring junior developers.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver AI-powered conversational UI components.
• Continuously improve UI components.
• Estimate tasks and track progress.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerts.
• Engage in design discussions and code reviews.
• Contribute to enhancing engineering practices.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies.

Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue 3).
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Express.js, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with UX principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills.
