Job Description
CommerceIQ is seeking a Business Development Representative to join its Revenue Marketing team. This role is crucial for identifying and qualifying potential customers for CommerceIQ's platform across strategic accounts in the enterprise commerce space. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and demonstrate a strong curiosity about customer problems and market trends. They will leverage tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Navigator to uncover insights and secure meetings for the Account Executive team.Role involves:
  • Building and executing outbound campaigns using email, social media, cold calling, and strategic outreach.
  • Managing and prioritizing inbound lead flow, ensuring timely follow-up and qualification.
  • Researching target accounts and personas to surface key insights and personalize outreach.
  • Partnering with Account Executives to develop account strategies and transition qualified leads.
  • Analyzing outreach performance data to optimize messaging, timing, and channel mix.
  • Developing content and A/B tests for subject lines and call-to-actions to drive meeting conversion rates.
  • Tracking and managing activity and pipeline in Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and Marketing to inform campaign strategy and feedback loops.
Requirements:
  • 3–5 years in a BDR or SDR role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Experience in adtech, martech, CDP, or e-commerce SaaS companies preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Strong understanding of data signals and funnel analytics to guide outreach strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills—written and verbal.
  • Experience analyzing performance data and iterating based on what’s working.
  • Ability to confidently support AEs and contribute to account strategy.
  • Highly collaborative mindset with a self-starter attitude.
