Job Description
Vercel is seeking a Renewals Manager to join their Renewal team. This role is crucial for managing the renewal process for Vercel's existing customer base, ensuring high retention rates, and identifying opportunities for expansion. The Renewals Manager will report to the Manager of the Renewal Team.
What This Role Involves:
- Overseeing the entire renewal process for assigned accounts to maintain and expand customer adoption.
- Working closely with sales, customer success, and support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify upsell opportunities.
- Analyzing customer data and developing renewal strategies tailored to the needs of customers.
- Negotiating contract terms and pricing with technical decision-makers and procurement teams.
- Maintaining accurate customer data and forecasts in Salesforce and flagging any at-risk accounts on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS renewals with a proven track record of exceeding renewal targets.
- Strong understanding of frontend development & cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter attitude, curious, and solution-focused.
- Strong initiative, positive attitude, and both the ability and willingness to learn technical concepts.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and tools used in developer-focused companies.
