Quantitative Analytics Lead

Affirm is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Lead to join their Quantitative Research team. This role focuses on developing analytical tools and improving the usability of take-up and loan cashflow models. The candidate will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to enhance automation and research infrastructure. Over time, the candidate will engage with stakeholders to tailor models to the needs of various teams within Affirm.What this role involves:

• Architecting and refining research infrastructure for modeling loan performance.
• Collaborating with platform teams to implement analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Delivering analyses and tools to users across the firm.
• Reviewing model implementations and conducting code reviews.

What the candidate needs:

• Undergraduate, Masters, or PhD in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline.
• 3-7 years of experience developing quantitative infrastructure tools.
• Solid background in math, statistics, and finance.
• Familiarity with quantitative research methodologies and machine learning algorithms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across organizational levels.
• Github experience preferred.
