Job Description
Lucid Motors is seeking a Technical Trainer to deliver hands-on training and classroom instruction to develop essential skills for automotive technicians, including EV technology and safety procedures. The Technical Trainer will bridge the gap between technical knowledge and practical application, ensuring technicians are well-equipped to deliver high-quality service and repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive technical training on automotive diagnostic, repair, and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and update training materials aligned with industry standards.
- Identify training needs through assessments and develop targeted programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Stay current with the latest automotive technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
- Maintain and manage training facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that incorporate hands-on activities, models, visual aids, and technology.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for all automotive training activities, tools, and equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate work-based learning projects within the school or community.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 5 plus years of equivalent automotive trades experience.
- 5+ Years in Automotive Industry (e.g. problem solving and repair experience)
- Proficient in quality control methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Experience with statistical analysis and quality data interpretation.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use quality inspection software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations in the automotive industry.
