Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (Interior & Exterior)

Job Description

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer for Interior & Exterior parts to contribute to best-in-class product quality. This role involves collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to achieve product excellence goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-volume manufacturing and assembly, supporting Interior & Exterior components in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering within the automotive industry.

• Lead supplier qualifications, action plans, audits, and performance monitoring.
• Support suppliers’ development activity and Greenfield launch.
• Plan and lead product quality requirements at various product development stages.
• Work cross-functionally with Plant level Manufacturing, Quality, Material Planning, and Engineering.
• Manage and report performance metrics timely to diagnose and prioritize issues.
• Facilitate and lead quality resolutions, innovations, and continual improvements.
• Document processes and compliance with AIAG and IATF16949 industry standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering).
• 8+ years of High-volume manufacturing and assembly plant experience supporting Interior & Exterior components in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering
• Automotive industry experience with OEM(s)/CBU and suppliers.
• Greenfield management experience is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of product quality gates during product development.
• Practical Problem Solving, D/PFMEA, APQP, Lean Six Sigma, core tools.
• Exceptional timely communication and interpersonal skills.
