Job Description

C6 Bank is seeking a Platform Engineer Specialist to join its Platform Engineering team in São Paulo, Brazil. The Platform Engineer Specialist will focus on optimizing the developer experience and technology teams' efficiency. The role involves evolving the infrastructure based on Kubernetes and Service Mesh to create an efficient environment for technology professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Evolving and operating Kubernetes clusters in multi-cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining Service Mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) for observability, security, and traffic control between services.
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and management with Terraform and similar tools.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to understand pain points and opportunities for improvement in the development experience.
  • Automating build, deploy, and testing processes.
  • Contributing to the standardization of development environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Kubernetes at scale (production).
  • Experience with process automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Node.js).
  • Experience with high availability and mission-critical environments.
  • Experience with platforms like GKE, EKS, AKS, OpenShift.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure automation (IaC), CI/CD, and GitOps.
  • Knowledge of observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
  • Knowledge of Cloud technologies.
  • Passion for technology and providing an excellent experience for development teams.
