Job Description
Truecaller is seeking a Backend Engineer specializing in Golang to join their team in Bangalore, India. Truecaller's Enterprise Product team focuses on creating new revenue streams through solutions that improve business-to-customer communication. The ideal candidate will guide the team on Go concepts, paradigms, and best practices, influencing the adoption of Go as a supported language in Truecaller's backend.
Role Involves:
- Building scalable and reliable systems to handle growing global traffic.
- Developing high-volume, low-latency applications for large systems.
- Coding new features and defining backend architecture.
- Designing microservices and researching new technologies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of backend development experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Go.
- Strong knowledge of Go paradigms and best practices.
- Good knowledge of concurrency in Go (goroutines, channel patterns).
- Experience with microservices architecture, DevOps, and continuous delivery.
- Experience building APIs with gRPC or REST.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
