Staff Data Analyst

Job Description

Truecaller is seeking a Staff Data Analyst to join their Data & Analytics team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor, providing high-quality analyses and strategic insights to Ads Business Unit (ADs BU) leaders, Product leaders, and the Truecaller C-suite. This role involves bridging the gap between data, product, and business, translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

Role involves:

• Leading end-to-end data analysis projects.
• Delivering data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conducting deep-dive investigations to uncover root causes and provide actionable solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments.
• Translating complex analytical findings into clear narratives and presentations.
• Building strong relationships with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business leaders.
• Mentoring junior analysts and promoting best practices in data analysis.
• Working with data engineering teams to improve data accessibility and reliability.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a data analyst or similar role.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expert proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker).
• Proficient in statistical analysis and experimental design (A/B testing).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decision-making through data.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
