Job Description

Capco, a global technology and management consultancy specializing in digital transformation, is seeking a SAP ABAP Consultant. The consultant will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing technical solutions within the SAP ECC environment. They will work closely with functional and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and maintaining SAP programs using ABAP.
• Implementing improvements and corrections in custom and standard SAP objects.
• Creating and adjusting reports, interfaces, forms, user-exits, BADIs, and enhancements.
• Developing and maintaining RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs, and integration processes with external systems.
• Analyzing functional and technical specifications, proposing viable solutions.
• Conducting unit and integration tests, supporting homologation and go-live phases.
• Creating and maintaining complete and updated technical documentation.
• Collaborating with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participating in implementation, rollout, update, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensuring the quality and performance of developed solutions, respecting SAP development standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development in the SAP ECC environment.
• Proficiency in classic and ALV reports.
• Experience in developing forms (SmartForms, SAPScript, Adobe Forms).
• Knowledge of Exits, BADIs, enhancements, and user-exits.
• Experience in developing and consuming RFCs, BAPIs, IDOCs, and Web Services.
• Proficiency in debugging and code optimization processes.
• Knowledge of integrations between SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, etc.).
• Analytical skills, logical reasoning, and focus on effective technical solutions.
• Good communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English.
