Senior QA Engineer - Capital market

Job Description

Capco Poland is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance processes for capital market systems. The role is hybrid, requiring occasional trips to London or Warsaw, with a preference for candidates based in or near Warsaw. The successful candidate will ensure systems meet high standards of functionality, performance, and security.

The Senior QA Engineer will collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and product owners to integrate the QA process into the software development lifecycle. They will manage test environments, conduct performance, stress, and regression testing, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Role Involves:

• Leading quality assurance processes for capital market systems.
• Designing and executing detailed test plans and scripts.
• Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders.
• Managing test environments.
• Mentoring junior QA engineers.
• Conducting performance, stress, and regression testing.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in QA and testing within the financial or capital markets domain.
• Strong proficiency in writing and executing automated and manual tests for complex financial systems.
• In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle, with a focus on Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in risk-based testing.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
