Shakepay, a company focused on making Bitcoin accessible to Canadians, is seeking a Staff Product Manager. This role involves shaping the future of financial services by developing and executing product strategies for Shakepay's core consumer product. The Staff Product Manager will report directly to the CEO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful initiatives.
What this role involves: - Influencing the vision, strategy, and execution for new and existing products.
- Collaborating with engineering and design teams.
- Using data and research to identify opportunities.
- Owning product development end-to-end.
- Communicating product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
- Defining, tracking, and analyzing the impacts of product changes.
- Regularly communicating product strategy and progress with executive leadership and the broader team.
Requirements: - 8+ years of experience as a product manager in mobile-first technology companies, ideally in fintech or consumer marketplaces.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with multiple 0-1 product launches.
- A track record of shipping products that have delivered meaningful results.
- Comfortable operating autonomously and making decisions with imperfect data.
- Deep curiosity about bitcoin, financial services, and the future of money.
- Resourcefulness and ability to thrive in fast-moving environments.
