Job Description

Lucid is seeking a Technical Specialist, Hardware Design Validation and Test Engineer to join their Infotainment Test & Validation team. The ideal candidate should exhibit a can-do attitude and strive for excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Lucid Motors requires the candidate to develop test plans, perform component-level tests, execute design validation testing (DVT), and set up, test, and report results to the infotainment and controls teams.

Role involves:

  • Developing test plans
  • Performing component-level tests
  • Executing design validation testing (DVT)
  • Setting up, testing, and reporting results

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in HW testing (Automotive is a plus)
  • Collaboration with HW Design Engineers
  • Experience with project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA)
  • Familiarity with Design Validation Test (DVT) phases
  • Hands-on experience with test systems (environmental chambers, vibration tables, EMC/EMI equipment)
  • Knowledge of Gigabit Ethernet, FPD link, CAN, SPI, I2C, LIN, RS232, A2B, GMSL, BT, and Wi-Fi
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
