Staff Salesforce Engineer

Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Staff Salesforce Engineer to join their team and build solutions that leverage real-time data, AI predictive models, and the data ecosystem. Xometry powers industries by connecting people with manufacturers. This role involves collaborating with technology teams and business stakeholders to accelerate the innovation of the global manufacturing marketplace.Responsibilities include:

• Using knowledge of SFDC integration architecture and third-party integration tools to enrich data on the SFDC platform and external systems.
• Guiding the organization in decisions between build vs buy and declarative vs programmatic techniques.
• Writing high-quality code, performing code reviews, and mentoring team members in SFDC best practices.
• Working on big projects, breaking them down, and solving tricky problems.
• Collaborating with developers, administrators, and product owners to drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Experience leveraging SFDC APIs to consume external APIs and for external systems consumption.
• 5+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.
• Experience writing applications in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience working with AWS or an equivalent cloud provider.
• Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I, II, and Salesforce Technical Architect.
• Mastery of Apex and experience building Lightning Web Components projects in a production environment.
• Experience implementing and deploying Salesforce code with SDLC, code review, testing, and multi-environment management.
• Experience with Salesforce native and third-party developer tools.
• Experience guiding a team when to use Salesforce declaratively or programmatically.
• Must be a US citizen, green card holder, or a legal permanent resident of the United States.
