Job Description
Auctane is seeking a Marketplace Manager to lead and scale its presence on Amazon, Walmart, and eBay. This role involves owning the P&L for these channels, building them from the ground up, and integrating them into Auctane's digital commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven strategist with a history of scaling marketplace businesses.What this role involves:
  • Developing and executing a multi-year marketplace strategy.
  • Owning the channel P&L and setting goals for revenue, profitability, and market share.
  • Driving growth through strategic product assortment and competitive pricing.
  • Designing and optimizing advertising campaigns.
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to uncover actionable insights.
  • Overseeing the creation of SEO-optimized product listings.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
  • Managing relationships with marketplace account managers and external agencies.
  • Staying ahead of marketplace trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing and scaling businesses on Amazon and Walmart.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
  • Deep understanding of marketplace analytics and financial metrics.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with marketplace analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with Seller Central, Walmart Seller Center, and associated advertising platforms.
  • Proactive, self-starting attitude with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
