Job Description

Chatham Financial is seeking a motivated entry-level Graphic Designer for a temporary summer position in 2025. This role offers hands-on design experience and collaboration within a dynamic marketing team. The Graphic Designer will contribute to impactful visual content supporting the company's brand, marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and client communications. They will also assist in the company-wide rebrand, refreshing existing materials and creating assets aligned with the new visual identity.

In this role, the candidate will:

  • Assist in creating visual content for marketing materials.
  • Contribute to rebranding efforts.
  • Collaborate with the creative director and marketing team.
  • Resize and format existing designs for multiple platforms.
  • Participate in concept brainstorming sessions.
  • Stay up to date with design trends and tools.
  • Become part of the Chatham team, interacting with other interns, your own team, and senior leaders as well.
  • Receive a training plan with sessions that begin on your first day and span the entire summer to orient you to Chatham.
  • Participate in self-assessments mid-summer that will provide insight into your natural abilities and how you can influence your future.

  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication ability, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and with team members.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Figma.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Academic focus in marketing, graphic design, or related field of study.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize.
