Job Description
Chatham Financial is seeking a Transaction Operations Specialist to join their Global Real Estate Team in London. This role is crucial for processing trades and managing documentation for interest rate and foreign currency hedging services. The specialist will focus on improving the efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of hedging operations, ensuring excellent client service before and after transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating trade documentation with clients and dealer banks.
- Uploading transaction details and documents into the database.
- Assisting with documentation by coordinating with internal experts, attorneys, and banks.
- Confirming and checking economic details of transactions.
- Assisting clients with fund settlements.
- Managing the tracking and reporting of transaction operations.
- Working closely with the centralized documentation and transaction management team for compliance.
- Reviewing loan documents and extracting key economic data.
- Understanding new derivatives regulations and their impact.
- Assisting in training other team members.
Requirements:
- Experience in managing and organizing documents, trade operations, or process improvement.
- Strong organizational skills, proactive initiative, and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to quickly shift between tasks.
- Capacity to create, maintain, and improve effective processes.
- Experience in bank operations or as a paralegal is a plus.
- Comfort with math.
