ISDA / Regulatory Advisory Manager

Job Description

Chatham Financial is seeking a Manager for its European ISDA & Regulatory Advisory team. This role involves leading the team, ensuring alignment with global objectives, and providing commercial advice to clients on derivatives regulation and agreements.

The Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading Chatham’s European ISDA & Regulatory Advisory team.
• Hiring and managing team members, including training and professional development.
• Partnering with the Global ISDA & Regulatory Advisory team lead to implement operational and process updates.
• Developing and delivering regulatory and documentation training programs.
• Serving as a subject matter expert on global derivatives regulation and trade documentation.
• Interpreting and analyzing the impact of regulatory sources and guidance.
• Creating and sharing resources related to derivatives regulation and documentation.
• Advising internal teams and external clients on the practical implications of derivatives regulation.
• Reviewing and analyzing ISDA agreements and trade documentation, and negotiating contract terms.
• Participating in industry working groups.

Contributors to success include:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with derivatives documentation, derivatives regulation, or contract review.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking with the ability to read and comprehend complex information quickly.
• Attention to detail but also an ability to synthesize information with a high-level perspective.
• Prior management experience is preferred, but not required.
• Command of multiple languages is a plus.
