Job Description
THE ICONIC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their Supply Chain team. This role serves as a critical link between Category Management and Fulfilment Centre teams. The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for booking international non-DDP shipment orders, coordinating shipment schedules with freight forwarders, planning intake quantities with the inbound team, and monitoring on-time deliveries.
What this role involves: - Ensuring the day-to-day execution of logistics operations, including booking shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving issues in transit.
- Preparing and managing shipping documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and invoices to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics providers to monitor shipment schedules and address delays or discrepancies.
- Accurately updating and maintaining logistics systems with shipment details, ensuring real-time visibility for all stakeholders.
- Identifying and escalating logistics disruptions or issues promptly to ensure timely resolution and minimal impact on operations.
Requirements: - 1 to 2 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management, with the ability to handle multiple jobs at once
- Expertise in using logistics and supply chain management software to track shipments, manage documentation, and analyze data (Zendesk).
