Job Description
Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Associate Manager, Client Finance to manage the financial aspects of their client portfolio. This is a fully remote position with East Coast hours. The Associate Manager will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and month-end close duties.Role involves:
  • Supervising monthly project accounting efforts and leading status meetings.
  • Reviewing and reconciling new contracts.
  • Reporting project financials to stakeholders.
  • Setting up new clients in accounting systems.
  • Managing intercompany revenue/cost transactions.
  • Managing cost allocations and facilitating project scope changes.
  • Ensuring compliance with client contracts.
  • Preparing monthly project revenue forecasts.
  • Managing client invoicing and following up on past due invoices.
  • Reviewing and submitting monthly client accruals.
  • Reviewing client business development opportunities.
  • Managing subcontractor agreements and forecasting costs.
  • Reviewing and reconciling monthly general ledger accounts.
  • Identifying cost savings and process efficiencies.
  • Managing and mentoring direct reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • 4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Agency or Professional Services experience a plus.
  • Month-end close, revenue recognition, project accounting, and client services experience preferred.
