Precision Medicine Group is seeking an Associate Manager, Client Finance to manage the financial aspects of their client portfolio. This is a fully remote position with East Coast hours. The Associate Manager will be responsible for financial management, reporting, and month-end close duties.Role involves:
- Supervising monthly project accounting efforts and leading status meetings.
- Reviewing and reconciling new contracts.
- Reporting project financials to stakeholders.
- Setting up new clients in accounting systems.
- Managing intercompany revenue/cost transactions.
- Managing cost allocations and facilitating project scope changes.
- Ensuring compliance with client contracts.
- Preparing monthly project revenue forecasts.
- Managing client invoicing and following up on past due invoices.
- Reviewing and submitting monthly client accruals.
- Reviewing client business development opportunities.
- Managing subcontractor agreements and forecasting costs.
- Reviewing and reconciling monthly general ledger accounts.
- Identifying cost savings and process efficiencies.
- Managing and mentoring direct reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
- 4+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience, including 1-2 years in a supervisory role.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Agency or Professional Services experience a plus.
- Month-end close, revenue recognition, project accounting, and client services experience preferred.
